The bigger we think we are, the harder we eventually fall ...
I have to admit that I consider myself an educated and savvy consumer, now I have to take on a bit of hubris and humility. I had an emergency appendectomy, and had nothing else on my mind except the imminent procedure, and the road to recovery afterwards. I got a little too casual with some of my other primary responsibilities and figured things would just blow over and it would be no big deal. Oops. I quickly discovered how painful and how significant just a couple of late payments could be, as my score dropped by over 80 points, even after I settled the debts! Fortunately, my wife looked into things for me, and after screening several credit repair agencies, we decided to go with Accurise .
Accurise is well worth the program costs and then some. They managed to delete both of my settled paid off accounts, as well as a few erroneous negatively reporting items that I hadn’t even been aware of! I am now sitting at a solid 700 score and couldn’t be happier. Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice…Needless to say, my lesson has been learned. Thanks, Accurise.
